ASTM A335 P92 Ferritic Alloy Steel Pipe For High Temperature Service
1. Product Description
In strict accordance with ASTM A335 P92 standard is used for production and testing. The chemical composition and physical properties fully meet the requirements of the standard. This product is seamless alloy steel pipe for high temperature. All grades of steel in this standard are delivered in the state of complete annealing, isothermal annealing and normalizing plus tempering. The tempering temperature is different. The minimum tempering temperature of P1, P2, P11 and p12 is 650 ℃, and that of P5, P9, p21 and P22 is the lowest, which tempering temperature is 675 ℃.The product can be cold drawn or hot rolled, mainly used for boilers and steam pipes with mechanical properties and high temperature requirements. Outer diameter is 1 / 8in-48in (3.2mm-1219.2mm), normally cold-drawn 8mm-168.3mm, hot-rolled >168.3mm.
For antirust purpose, customer can request black painted, blue painted, and oil soaking.
For both sides protection, customer can request plastic caps.
For up-market needed, customer can request addition internal and external burr cleaning and beveling.
2. Industrial application
ASTM A335 P92 Seamless carbon steel pipes are widely used in high-temperature industries. This product is mainly used for header and steam pipe of low and medium pressure boiler (the working pressure is generally not more than 5.88MPA, and the working temperature is below 450 ℃).
