3. Product features and Application

This kind of eccentricity makes the contact surface of butterfly plate and valve seat be the sealing surface, which fundamentally overcomes the inherent defects of the middle line butterfly valve, and thus eliminates the possibility of internal leakage at the upper and lower intersection points between the valve stem shaft and the sealing valve seat. Another eccentricity refers to that the center of the valve body's water hole deviates from the shaft center of the valve stem, that is, the valve stem shaft divides the butterfly plate into more parts on one side and two parts on the other side. This kind of eccentricity can make the butterfly plate quickly break away from or close to the valve seat during the opening and closing process, reduce the stroke friction between the butterfly plate and the sealing valve seat, reduce the wear, reduce the opening and closing torque, and prolong the service life of the valve seat.
It is mainly used for water plant, power plant, steel plant smelting, chemical industry, water source spring engineering, environmental facilities construction and other system drainage, especially for waterway pipeline, as regulating and intercepting equipment. Compared with the center line butterfly valve, double eccentric butterfly valve is more resistant to high pressure, longer service life and good stability.
