1. Description
ASTM316L stainless steel has a wide range of uses. Due to the addition of Mo, the carbon content is lower than 316 steel, and the resistance to intergranular corrosion is better, so its acid-base corrosion resistance, atmospheric corrosion resistance and high temperature strength are particularly good, which can be used under severe conditions; it has excellent work hardening (non-magnetic); high temperature strength; solution state is non-magnetic; the appearance of cold-rolled products is glossy and beautiful. Compared with 304L stainless steel, its price is higher. It is widely used in chemical equipment, high temperature boiler, food industry, nuclear industry, paper industry, etc.

4. Delivery surface states
We offer various surface treatment states. Normally, wiredrawing, mirror (8K), oil film (HL), titanium plating, cutting, folding, bending, punching, rolling, embossing, punching, gouging, laser, water knife cutting, etc.
Some abbreviated forms of surface treatment name
No.1 - A rough, matte surface that is hot rolled to a specified thickness, annealed, and descaled for use without surface gloss
1D - the surface has discontinuous particles, also known as fog surface. Processing technology: hot rolling + annealing shot peening pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling.
2D - slightly glossy silver white. Processing technology: hot rolling + annealing shot peening pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling.
2B - silvery white, better gloss and flatness than 2D surface. Processing technology: hot rolling + annealing shot peening pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling + quenching and tempering rolling.
BA - excellent surface gloss, high reflectivity, like mirror surface. Processing technology: hot rolling + annealing shot peening pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling + surface polishing + quenching and tempering rolling.
NO.3 - good glossiness and rough surface. Processing technology: polishing and tempering rolling of 2D products or 2B with 100-120 abrasive materials (JIS R6002).
NO.4 - good glossiness and fine lines on the surface. Processing technology: polishing and tempering rolling of 2D products or 2B with 150-180 abrasive material (JIS R6002).
HL - silver gray with hairline. Processing technology: polishing 2D or 2B products with appropriate abrasive materials to make the surface appear continuous grinding lines.
Mirro - in mirror state. Processing technology: grind and polish 2D or 2B products with appropriate abrasive materials to mirror effect.
