1. Product Description
ASTM A209 T1 is a carbon steel molybdenum alloy seamless steel pipe, which is mainly used in boilers and heat exchangers. Because of its good heat resistance and corrosion resistance, it is often used as the core heat-resistant parts of heat-resistant equipment. The product is a cold drawing process. The size of the product is 1 / 2'in-5in (12.7mm-127mm) in outer diameter, and the minimum wall thickness is 0.035in-0.500in (0.9mm-12.7mm). Tubes in other sizes will have different mechanical properties, and it's not applicable in this introduction.
The product is divided into three grades: T1, T1a and T1b. They have different chemical composition, physical properties and service environments.
